REVIVAL!!

Revival has started at our church this week. We meet at 7 there are only 2 days left. Len Turner is bringing the messages. He preached Sunday morning and night and last night. He does a good job. The music is great!

The biggest update I have is that Michael has been given a job on first shift. Praise the Lord. Literally, I have been praying that God work this out for him and this is our answered prayer. Second shift seems to just take away all of his energy! Thank you Lord for answered prayers.

As for the boys, they are great! We are busy this week with revival. We have to play outside, get baths and eat dinner all before church. After church we come in and read then go straight to bed.
We went to see Monsters v. Aliens on Saturday night. It was fun...the best part was seeing the boys in the 3D glasses. They are too cute. I'll have to get a photo and post it.

There are always a million funny things they do in a day they are such fun kids. I'm so thankful that God has allowed me to be their mom. I hope they end up being thankful for such a mean mom as I. Y'all have a great day!

LONG short week

This week has been so long even though we were out on Monday. We are all doing good. We have had busy days and peaceful nights. We went to a birthday party on Saturday and church on Sunday. We spent the whole day at the zoo on Monday and we found a turtle. His name is Chance the Turtle Bryant. Dalton said that he is the turtles Daddy so the turtle should be named Chance after him. I thought that was really cute. He was a free turtle but supplies and all ended up costing 88 dollars. Good thing the turtle was free. This week has been sad and I'm glad it has come to an end. The funeral home was such a sad event and we missed the funeral, Dalton had a checkup from his surgery. He is doing great. YAY! I will post a few pics that my friend Jennifer sent me. I haven't been taking many this week. I kinda feel guilty being happy...even though I am happy and have had great times with my boys this week. I just wish Erica could be having great times with her family still.

Sad

We lost a student Sunday. She had a car accident on the way to school on Tuesday, April 15th and passed on Sunday. Our school is like a little family. Everyone is taking it hard. She was only 17 and was graduating this year. Pray for her family. She had 2 brothers and a sister, obviously her mother is devastated. I hope this day passes quickly.

Yesterday was a pretty busy day. We had a faculty meeting after school, tee ball (eventful), and a board meeting. I had to rush getting the boys and then getting milk (2 stores), going home and getting Dalton dressed. Friday I will be more prepared and have all of his clothes laid out. I thought I was prepared enough but the little things were scattered about. Our next few games until May are on Friday at 5:30. We will have one in May on the 14th I think. That's a Thursday.

After I got done with tee ball yesterday, I went to the board meeting with Dylan. I left Dalton at the game with Nana and PaPaw, they offered to keep him with them while Gabe and Hayden played ball. The board meeting was over when I got there at 6:20. It started at 6 and ended about 6:10. Pretty uneventful, but I did get to see our superintendent and principal, assistant principal and board members. Meeting and talking is the most important part anyway.

I'm tired today and feeling a little under the weather. I feel like I stay tired. I would love a day to just rest. Summer's coming, maybe I can get one then.

Monday, Monday

After school we had to run to the mall to pick up Mama's mothers day gift. She wanted a slide for her slide bracelet. I loaded up the boys and picked up Daddy and we headed to Belk in Auburn. It took about 30 minutes to select the correct one and then we ate dinner at the food court and headed home. That's my kind of shopping and Daddy's too. We took the rest of the boys dinner to Michael at work then headed home for play time outside. It was already 7:30 so they didn't play out for long. It was time for bath and then books and bed. The boys were great. The whole ride to Auburn was humorous. They would fight, then laugh and fight and laugh.
Dalton was trying to teach Dylan to wink. I wish I had my camera with me, because that would have been the pic to take. Dalt was holding one of Dyl's eyes open then said okay close the other eye. It was too funny.
I talked to both sisters, cousin Christy, and cousin in law Jennifer last night. They were all quick conversations but it was nice to touch base. I need to call and check on my cousin Nick. He just had rotator cuff surgery. I hope the recovery is going good for him. Y'all say an extra prayer for him tonight.
We have a faculty meeting after school today then tonight is tee ball and a board meeting at 6. Busy afternoon! This morning the boys had pictures at school and Dalt will have graduation pics soon and graduation on May 8th. Wow! I can't believe he will be here with me next year in big school. How exciting!
Don't let the Easter season die...Our Lord is still alive and on His throne. How exciting. I'm so ready to see His face!

Students

I have a student who checks my blog. She asked why I don't have any pics of her on here. I told her I would post one. I actually need to post a picture of each of my classes. I love my job and the reason is because I love my students. They keep me young. They raise my blood pressure, but they make me laugh. I am blessed. And so without any further delay......here's Danielle.

Fri, Sat and Sun

How 'bout a little t-ball??

Dalton and one of his very patient coaches. They are great with the kids. That's Gabe in the background.

Gabe and Hayden wrestling. Everytime one of their teamates goes to catch a ball, all of them pile up on each other. It's really funny, but this was after the game.

Cuties. He was singing I think....or maybe yawning.
Party Saturday. Sweet Katie with her basketball.
Silly AnnaBeth

Hungry Luke, Dyl stole some chips after this shot.
Birthday girl Jill.

Waiting patiently for the gifts.

The Stephens grandchildren, a fine looking bunch.

The Bryant Fam.

Few from Saturday

Jill's cake

Beautiful bunny cake from Publix.

Poor Bunny, you sure were yummy....

Busy Weekend!

WOW! This weekend was jam packed! It was fun and filled with family on both sides so it was great. Friday started with a tee ball game. Dalton did good. He clucked like a chicken when he was in the outfield, but he wasn't playing in the dirt. There really was no dirt...we played at the rodeo field. I love living in the country.
Saturday began at 8am with an Easter Egg Hunt at the church. Lots of kids and lots of eggs! It was fun. I hope they understand the true meaning of Easter, it was shared a lot! Saturday afternoon was Jill's party in B'ham. It was from 4-6. We had tons of fun playing with all the kids and seeing all the family. Leigh Ann throws a great party. We didn't get home til 9 and we left at 6:30....we had to stop at 2 wal marts looking for mac and cheese. One was sold out. I guess that was everyone's idea for Easter lunch.
Sunday morning we had a sunrise service at 6:30. The boys went with me after we had the Easter Bunny at the house. We hunted eggs at our house after the sunrise service. Then we had our church cantata. It went great. Afterwards we went to Mamas and had lunch and hunted eggs and played outside until about 4:30 at which point my children asked to go home. That never happens! They were so pooped. LONG and BUSY weekend, but great!
Thank you Jesus for choosing to die for me. I don't know why you love me so much but I'm eternally grateful and can't wait to see you face to face to tell you so!
Oh our washing machine motor burned up. Michael is supposed to order another one today. Thanks Mama and Daddy for letting me do laundry at your house. She thought she was going to wash, dry and fold all of them...but I caught her folding the first load and took the rest home wet. My dryer does still work. I'll upload some pics later.

Prayer Requests

Prayer requests!! Please remember to keep little Ella in your prayers. She seems to be doing great, but we want to always lift up her family. Also there is another little girl we pray daily for, her name is Marlie. I will add her carepage to the side of my page. You will have to have an account, but it's free and takes no time to sign up. She is precious and is suffering from brain cancer. She was in remission but has relapsed. They are now starting 2 types of chemo and radiation. We are just praying that her little body can handle it. Our God is Awesome and can heal all cancers. Let's lift up these babies!

Tuesday already!

Thanks Denise for this video!!! It's hilarious!

Yesterday we went to Target to get an animal for the boys being good in church and Dyl not having any accidents. While we were looking at the animals for not having accidents, he had an accident! I kept asking if he needed to potty and he said no ma'am. He was dancing about vigorously, then all of a sudden he was still! He just looked down and yep, his pants were wet. I had to go buy a pair of 4 dollar shorts because I had new undies, but no pants! I bought 24 month shorts and they are too big in the waist, especially with no undies under them. (they were in the car) After we finished eating dinner (Pizza Hut in Target) we walked out to the car in the freezing cold wind. I was walking rather fast and holding Dyl's hand he kept saying something and then when I finally heard him he was yelling "mine pants is falling"....he had on no undies and the lady behind us was just rolling laughing! All of us were laughing uncontrollably by the time we got to the car. After a whirlwind hectic trip in Target, we needed that laughter! I love my sweet sweet boys. There is never a dull moment!

Dalton has truly become his brothers keeper. In the buggy yesterday he said "Dylan you need to sit on your bottom like Mama said, you really need to obey her" Then this morning he told me that Dyl had to go potty, I called Dylan to the bathroom and he didn't come. I heard Dalton say "Dylan she ain't coming to get you, you better go to her". Last night he kept telling Dylan to lay down and go to sleep then he popped Dylan on the hand because Dyl was keeping him awake. Dylan got tired of his bossiness I guess because he bit Dalton on the back of the neck. Dalt is my big helper though he really has grown up way too fast!

My friend Jennifer has an awesome camera, it takes rapid shots!! She took some pics of Dalt at the game on Saturday so I thought I'd post a few of them.

Listening to Daddy:)

The scoop,

The throw!

Playing in the dirt!

Holding Daddy's hand!

Those red hands! He really loved that dirt! Thank you Jennifer!

Susie's Retirement Dinner

There was a great turn out at the retirement party. Dalton didn't eat a thing not even his favorite chips and dip. He kept saying he felt sick. He said that several times on the way home too. The party was on Saturday night after a long hot day. He had his surgery on Thursday so he still is not 100%. He's tired alot and says his throat hurts. We just give Tylenol and let him rest as much as possible. I hope his day at school today goes great. We had to leave the party early on Saturday. It started at 7 and we left at 8:22 because the boys were getting tired and restless and we still had to go buy shoes for easter and some pipe cleaners for butterfly making at the Easter Egg hunt for church on Saturday.
PaPaw and Nana visiting.

PaPaw and Nana and the boys.

Hayden and Dalton playing peek a boo around the bench. We had to end this game quickly. They would have gotten a little carried away:)

Michael's brothers Matt on the right and Mark on the left. Mark was sitting by Matt's wife Tina.
Tina and Gabe, I had to take this one quick. He didn't want to look at me and smile.

These are the Elam church members who were able to come. Mr. George and Mrs. Janet, my Mama and Daddy, Mr. Jesse and Mrs. Brenda and Mrs. Carol and Mr. Gary.

Just more from Saturday

Poppa praying at opening ceremonies for tee ball and baseball.

Dylan relaxing with Nana after the game.

Dylan yelling for Michael to "come sit nown" Michael was helping coach 3rd and Dylan wanted him to sit down.

My beautiful Mom. She used to be Nanee, then mamee, now it's damee. Dylan is trying hard to say Grammy, he'll get it one day. Dalton finally did!
Dylan at the end of a long day. See his rosy red cheeks. He was pooped!
