Family Friday

Michael had a family weekend this weekend. We got up and went to Chuck E Cheese then to the mall to ice skate. We hit up Target on our way home for some supplies for Dalton. He got a backpack, seeing him with it on walking down the aisle just made me tear up. I can't believe he starts kindergarten, my baby. Hard to believe that time flies that fast. I remember standing over the stove cooking vicks vapo rub just so I could breath when I was pregnant with him. Seems like yesterday. Anyway, this is what we want...we want them to grow up and be mature and independant and Kindergarten is part of that process. I just think that once they start, our time is measured in summers and falls and then they are seniors!!!

So after we got home from Target Michael loaded up tree limbs to take off and we went swimming. Came home ate pizza and the boys are in bed. I asked if they had a good day and they both said yes. Dylan said "I couldn't ask for a better mom" so sweet. Makes it all worthwhile, even getting up at 6am after staying up til 12am. I love being a mommy! I love my boys, all three, Dalton Dylan and Michael. Life is good and God is great!

Fun Day

We have done NOTHING today. This morning we played around the house. We blew off the porch, shucked some corn, and collected all the caterpillars from the corn. The boys got up at 6:20 this morning. I had a eye doctor appt. and picked up a few things from town then home again to be with the boys. After a nice nap we got ready to eat dinner with my parents. We went to Cracker Barrel in Opelika, food was great, service not so much. Then on to indoor mini golf. It was the boys first time playing and they did good. Well Dalton did good, Dylan just played on all the stuff in the building. It was fun. Mama and Daddy (Grammy and Poppa) I'm so glad yall went with us, we love you and we had a great time making memories!! Enjoy the Pics.

Surfside Tuesday

Me and my boys before our trip.
We went to Surfside today. Probably the last time we'll get to go before school starts. We like Tuesdays because I get in free with a child. Dylan is free because he's 2.

Last Tuesday Nana and Gabe went with us and today Nana and Hayden went with us. Next Tuesday Dylan has his post op visit and then I start school on Wednesday. Our summer is quickly fading.
We got away from Surfside with only one injury. Dylan fell out of the back of the car after our picnic and landed on his back on the curb. He is one tough booger, he cried for a few minutes and then he was better. We had a GREAT day and are enjoying a relaxing movie in a tent made with sheets. It's rainy weather outside that's great! We need the rain and the timing was GREAT. As soon as we loaded up from Surfside the sky turned black and it began to sprinkle. We enjoyed our Sonic milkshakes in the rain on the way home. One more relaxing summer day down and tons of other relaxing days with my boys left, just have to squeeze in a lot of stuff in the evening starting Wed, like most working moms do. I'm so thankful God allowed me to be a teacher to share 8 entire weeks with my beautiful boys.

That's what I love about Sundays..

We started our day with church and Bible School commencement. A quick trip to McDonald's gor lunch. We ate lunch and dinner at our picnic table. Lunch was HOT dinner was pleasant at sundown around 8pm. This afternoon my sweet hubby did lots of yard work. The boys found this to be tons of fun. The tree in the front was in severe need of pruning and the boys pretended to be Sabertooth Tigers and climb on all the branches. We rested inside for a bit then went back to church tonight. I left after training union to come home since Michael took off work tonight. I fixed dinner while they burned a few limbs and jumped on the trampoline. We ended our night outside at 8 with dinner. Then bath, books and bed. Fun, relaxing day. It's always nice when Michael's home all day.
Dalton (sabertooth tiger) ready to pounce on Dylan the tiger.
Just Dalt
Just Dyl
Playing together so nicely.
Dylan after eating a tomato straight from the garden. The best way to eat them.
The boys jumping, Dalton saw something, plane or bird. Sweet sweet boys. They stayed awake to read books. We read until 10 and no one had a nap. The will be up at 7 regardless. I wish I had their energy:)

Another Summer Day

Only one week of my summer left. We have teacher inservice beginning August 5th, then we'll all be working for fall break. Isn't that crazy we just wish our lives away!! I just wish away the time away from my family. I have truly enjoyed every second of this summer, it's gone by WAY WAY too fast. Since Bible School ended last night, we did NOTHING today. We played this morning in a tent in the yard, Dalton chased around a rabbit. He said "rabbits are fast, I thought they hopped not run" He's so funny. Later in the day my precious 2 year old Dylan said "what are you saying woman" he was just quoting a scene from Madagascar, but still it was so funny. Without further delay here are some new pics.

A trip to Surfside with the Cousins

Susie, my mother in law, and I planned to take the boys on an adventure to Surfside Water Park today. We have Bible School this week so we knew it would be a busy day.
At 11 this morning. 3 shining faces, Dalton, Gabe and Dylan.
We stopped at McDonalds before going into the water park. Food is much cheaper outside the park.
I took the opportunity here to take some pics with Ronald.
This is the parking lot at the water park, silly boys.
Funny faces.
Inside the park finally. They are so excited. Ready for the big slides!!
Posing with Nana, it's hard to get everyone looking at the same time.
Ahhhhh, a successful trip. What a fun day it was, three wonderful boys. I don't think we could have asked for any better children. I hope they will remember these times.
We got home at 5 and had VBS at 6. We were rushing and Bible School was great. Once home at 9 they went straight to sleep.
Tomorrow will be another fun filled day, we only have a few days of summer left, we have to make the most of them.
