The Weekend and Memorial Day

This weekend was GREAT. It just went by too fast. I miss my boys so much today. It has been so nice spending 3 days with all of my boys (husband included).
Friday we had Kindergarten graduation at Reeltown. My nephew graduated. I can't believe he's old enough to graduate, time sure does fly. I remember visiting him in the hospital when he was born. Time flies too fast.

Saturday we started by going to the doctor for another ear infection....Dylan this time. It hasn't cleared up from last time. We've had one after the other. I'm scheduling a consult with our ENT.
Anyway, we have ANOTHER right ear infection. Saturday afternoon was good and relaxing. Sunday we had church and slip and slide in the afternoon. Monday we had the in laws over for dinner. Michael had to go back to work Monday but we enjoyed our dinner with Nana and PawPaw. We also discovered that we have 2 chipmunks that love our house. As long as they don't come inside they're cute.

My 5 year old Nephew, Gabe, at our last tee ball game.

A few more from Graduation.

All of the family that could attend Dalton's graduation.
Nana, Dat and Dyl....a little blurry, but at least a picture.
Dalton explaining to me, Poppa and Nana how his fingers got black during the graduation ceremony.
Uncle Matt
and another of Nana, a good picture but I bet she didn't know that I have it.

ELLA ROSE NORRIS

Update on Ella....the tumor shrunk!! Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow. Her doctors said that it shrunk about a centimeter or a little more. From the size of a pecan to the size of an almond is a huge difference. The doctors did not expect such a change so quickly, but we did God is good!!

ELLA NORRIS

Please pray for Ella and her family today. They are having another MRI to check on the progress of this treatment. When you pray, pray believing that God can do anything!! Please pray BIG. I am not just praying for shrinkage, I'm praying for total disappearance of this tumor. Pray with me, Believing that our God is bigger than this tumor and He can completely cure Ella Rose. Thank so much!

The Brithday Girl, again.
and her sweet sissy.

The grandparents. Who by the way are pretty good parents...

I didn't have any of Anna Beth from the party!! How could I leave her out. She's a cutie! The last picture is just how we all were at the party. Wild and crazy!!

PARTY!!

Well...today is the day. My 30th birthday. It really hasn't been bad at all. My boys got right out of bed and there was no fussing, they were both so loving and got dressed quickly and easily. And they wished me a happy birthday with no prompting. THe singing parents called at 6:30, as I told Michael bye he said "come back...Happy Birthday, I Love you", Leigh Ann called at 7:15 on my way to work and Donna called as I pulled in the parking lot. Such thoughtful family. I used to think 30 was SOOOOO old. It's really not. It's all a frame of mind. I like to think I'm a young 30. My Daddy will be 60 in August and he is for sure a YOUNG 60.

My sweet family organized a successful surprise birthday party for me at Niffers. I think they've been planning it for a month and I knew nothing about it. It was so fun. All of my family was there including my sweet inlaws and sisters who traveled hours just for the party. It was great. I was so surprised it really brought tears to my eyes to realize that everyone there took time out of their busy weekend to celebrate my birthday. Thank you all for coming. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I will add pictures from the party later, I didn't have my camera but other people had cameras so maybe I'll have a few to upload.

Leigh Ann and Jamie celebrated their 12th anniversary on the 17th. Wow I can't believe it's been 12 years. They have done a lot and been a lot of places in 12 years. They have a great marraige, an excellent example for younger couples. Happy Belated Anniversary, the card's in the mail. I did talk to her on the day though so don't think I forgot.

We're done with tee ball. We have a end of season bash on May 30th at 3:30. It's costing $15.00 to go and get a trophy. We paid 35 to play and bought snacks for the game...Not sure what all that paid for. We did get a shirt and pair of socks. Maybe that cost 35. Oh well it's only money...can't take it with you. And who better to spend it on than my children.

My nephew Gabe graduated from preschool Sunday afternoon. Congrats Gabe!! Look out Kindergarten!

Tomorrow is the MRI for ELLA NORRIS. IF you haven't been praying for her please start now. Her mom could use some peace. PRay that the MRI shows no tumor....We have not because we ask not. We have a BIG GOD and He can do BIG things. No tumor is possible with God. Have a great day!! (Christy you have to tell me how you got them to vacuum, I wish mine would,oh well)

Birthday Wishes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEIGH ANN!! I hope that it's great! I know it will be filled with lots of children...try to stay sane:) Love you!

Tee Ball pics...

Rough and tough boy.
Grammy got to come to another game. This is only the second for her to attend. She works til 5 and games are at5:30, the drive home from Montgomery takes a little longer than 30 minutes. I was glad she got to come enjoy a little of it and so were the boys.

Poppa's boy.

Nana's bubble,
Dylan's bubble. Check out the sunglasses.

an another of the glasses. and just one more from a previous day. I just think it's so funny that he never puts them on right and there are a million wrong ways to do it.
Offering a sucker and thena hug. They really do love each other.
Refreshing drink during tee ball.

Check out those ears. Too cute.
The next three are the progression of a kiss.

The pucker,
The Kiss.

Graduation Day

Dalton and Dylan on graduation day.

The graduation march.
The pledge.
The slide down for the diploma, he got stuck on the slide (pretty hilarious, everyone cracked up)
Receiving diploma and a kiss from Mrs. Leah.

Receiving congrats from his baby brother.
This is Brendan. Dalton's best buddy in school. They are thick as theives and cute as can be. When they play together, there is bound to be a naughty note.

This is Dalton and Lincoln. Lincoln and Dalt were best buddies at the beginning of school. Lincoln never gets naughty notes. I think that's why Dalt and Brendan are now best buds. I told Brendan's family to disregard whatever he's heard about us and to please not think badly of us. I know they probably hear a ton of wild stories.
We are proud of Dalton, I can't believe he's already 5 and about to start kindergarten. Where has the time gone?
