Week in Photos
After Dalton's team won today we went for a celebration lunch at Cozumel. Grammy and Poppa were able to come see the game today and share lunch with us. Not sure what was wrong with Dylan's eyes in this picture. Dalton's thing right now is bunny ears.
Poppa feeling Dalton's loose tooth??
Grammy enjoying the madness.
Dalton between plays.
Nephew Hayden between plays, he's 5 and our nephew Gabe is 00.
Lining up for a play in the last regular season game.
Our trip last week to Disney, tons of fun and NO rest!! It was an absolute blast! So glad we could share this with our boys.
Dylan before the Safari at Animal Kingdom.
Dalton our little Indiana Jones before the Safari. He was super excited!!
All four of the boys on one Harley. This was the night before we went to Disney....look out here they come and Disney will never be the same.
Pirates League....best thing ever so much fun!!
The large 4 seater jacuzzi tub was one of our favorite things about the room.

Homecoming
I don't believe there is anything like a REELTOWN homecoming. This year we honored the classes of 72, 82, 92, and 02. There were so many people in attendance. It just proves that it is truly great to be a Reeltown Rebel! We left early this morning getting this Blue and White day started. The school looked fab and the kids looked even better!! I love my job, it's like a little family! We certainly have a sense of community here!
Dress up days this week were tacky day, decade day (Dalton went as the Lone Ranger), Celebrity Day (he was Karate Kid), twin day (he matched a friend in class), and today was School color day! I'm so glad that he wanted to participate this year. Fun Fun times!

SOCCER
On the ride to the game we were making rhymes. Dalton said let's make a rhyme about our family. His first line was something about us all having hair, then he said well....we don't. I said yes we do have hair, he said I mean long thick hair not short stubbles. I said "Dad has hair on his chin...and you have long hair on your legs" His reply was, "HEY, I was born that way and you better accept it!" Who knew he was so sensitive about the leg hair! What a hoot!

Funny Boys
Yesterday at church I asked if Dalton put on his deodorant. He said no and I told him he smelled like onions. He said no mom I smell like PlayDoh. When I laughed he said "No seriously, I smell like Play Doh."
I handed Dylan my bag of church supplies and asked him to carry it upstairs. He hung it on his shoulders and put his hands together on the side of his chin. He then batted his eyes and said "I'm a little girl."
Tonight during prayer time I said "God please help Dylan not to interrupt me while praying" when I was done it was Dylan's turn. He prayed "Dear God please help mom not to diserupt me. Amen" Afterwards I told him I would try not to do that.
These boys keep us laughing. They are funny when they are trying to be serious and that is really hard for us not to laugh. I am so blessed to be their mom!!

Update
Well our new addition was the last post....she came to us back in January and here it is the first of October. Sorry I'm such a slacker.
We almost have our first 9 weeks of second grade behind us. Dalton so far has all A's and will have all A's on his report card unless his conduct grade is a B. I must say I am so proud of him. His B in conduct is due to his love of all things social. What can I say...he is his mother's son. Sorry, Dalt. Dalton is also playing 6-8 year old football this season. He played baseball and made All Stars. Now he is the left tackle on his little football team. We are so blessed that he gets to play with two of his cousins, Gabe and Hayden. What a neat bond they will have! Right now they are undefeated. It's so fun to watch them play, just like little men!
Our little Dylan is doing great in preschool. He is learning all of his letters and can write his name very well. He has a new haircut, thanks to mom's butchering job. He had a perfectly good cut, but I decided to try to trim it up a little more and boy did I make a mess of it. We had to take him to Regis in the mall and get it shaved. He's cute though! Dylan is going to play soccer this year. His first game will be this Tuesday. He loves it and he runs the whole time. Let's just hope we don't score for the other team.
Michael just had some steroid injections in his low back to relieve some inflammation after his partial discectomy in December. He is doing good, but I think he would do well with a little rest from his heavy lifting. He helps coach Dalton's football team and he's such a good coach.
As for me, I just soak it all up! I love this season of fall and the coolness of it. I love the bonfires we have and the family time we share. Our boys are growing up so fast and there isn't a day that passes that I don't thank God for these little gifts. Although I will say that there are days that I am so thankful for bedtime :-)
