New Pics

Surgery pictorial. This is in the parking lot right before we went in. We got there at 7:45 and they didn't take him back until almost 10. Long morning!

The walk in with Daddy! This is the first time he had his temp taken under the tongue.
Making a sad face:) And a funny face!
And another.
Sleeping after the surgery, this was after 2 shots of morphine, his tongue was so sore.

He wanted photos of his feet. He still has the band around his ankle he wants to keep it on until he goes to school Monday. We'll see....

I told him to smile for the photo, this is all I got. At least it's a smile:)

Thought I would leave you all with a smile. Look at this smile of his. He is so sweet.
While we were waiting he told us that he is going to have 2 children. One named Jack and one named Lucy and his wife will be named Hannah. He also said that he is going to be a good Daddy and will let his children do anything they want "at least if it's not dangerous or will hurt them." Then he said he would be a sweet husband and "will not make her cry like on Fireproof." (we just watched the movie at church and he paid close attention)

One last thing...Dalton loved his balloons. Thank you Grammy and Poppa (and for dinner), Aunt Lee Lee and fam, and Aunt Donna and fam. Dalton is blessed to have such a thoughtful family. The first thing he said this morning is "I'm so glad everyone sent me balloons. Love Yall.

Surgery Update!!

We are done with surgery and Dalton did GREAT! He was so pumped about having surgery. He kept saying "okay so when do I get the medicine to go to sleep" "Okay so when are the ladies coming to get me." Afterwards he was crying, his tongue hurt from where they clipped it out of the way. They had to give him morphine that helped alot. The doctor said his adenoids were huge so this should be great for him. After we left we got a prize from Target. (Dalton also picked out a dino for Dyl) Such a thoughtful brother. Then he requested Pizza for lunch so...we went to CiCi's and he really ate! Lots of breadsticks and sweets. Thank you so much for your prayers. I'll post pics later he wanted me to photograph lots of stuff so he could show his friends what all he had to do at surgery! Smart little fella.

April Fools

Happy April Fool's day! Watch out for the pranksters! I told Dalton that he could tell someone they had a bug on their head. He asked if he could do that so I hope he doesn't get in trouble. At the school he's at, he just might!! I can't believe it's April already, time sure does fly. It will be Christmas again before we know it.
Tonight is church. It will be busy today, but enjoyable.
Keep us in your prayers tomorrow. We find out today what time the surgery will be. We have been taling about how excited we are that his ears won't hurt anymore after today. I hope that gives him peace. We have prayed and I'm asking you to pray that tomorrow goes smoothly and that Dalton and myself maintain our composure. I'm afraid if he gets upset then I might too, even though I know it's not a huge ordeal. He is my baby though.
Thanks!
